Ideaventions provides community programs that are innovative, outside-of-school STEM experiences for families and children. Founded in 2010 as "Ideaventions," our STEM programs are open to the community and pre-date the start of Ideaventions Academy for Math and Science. Our mission endures as a leader and innovator in STEM education--providing unique STEM programs to the community and inspiring the next generation of innovators.
Inspiring Children
Pre-dating the founding of Ideaventions Academy, we have been providing outside-of-school STEM programs to children and families in the DC and Northern Virginia area. We host a range of events and camps throughout the year at the Ideaventions Academy campus located Reston, Virginia. In addition to our community programs, we develop new curriculum, offer professional development to STEM educators, and conduct STEM education research and lots more.
Ideaventions is a place where no idea is too crazy and where children, the adults of tomorrow, learn that anything is possible with a little creativity.
Our programs are led by experienced scientists, engineers, and teachers who emphasize exploration and seek to harness a child’s natural curiosity about our world. Our programs are designed to share and nurture children’s love for learning.
