Each summer, returning and incoming students and their families gather in a series of summer social events to build and strengthen our community.

Summer Socials

The extraordinary community at Ideaventions Academy is foundational and it starts in the summer. Each year we organize a series of Summer Socials; events for new and returning students, teachers and families to connect informally while appreciating natural areas, playing games, or visiting historical sites. We meet each other and form bonds as we join in activities and events.

Summer Travel

 At the end of each year, students and families may choose to take part in an annual, week-long field trip that exposes students to different experiences, environments, and, some years, different countries. While learning and preparing for the independence of college, students live together in a new environment alongside teachers, while eating, learning, and exploring new places and topics.
