About Ideaventions
Founded in 2010, Ideaventions provides community programs that are unique STEM educational experiences for children and families; inspiring the next generation of innovators.
Ideaventions
Pre-dating the founding of Ideaventions Academy, Ideaventions provides outside-of-school STEM programs to children and families in the DC and Northern Virginia area. Focused on innovation and research, we host a range of STEM community events and camps throughout the year at the Ideaventions Academy campus located Reston, Virginia. In addition to our out-of-school community programs, we develop new STEM curriculum, offer professional development to STEM educators, and conduct STEM education research and lots more.
Ideaventions is a place where no idea is too crazy and where children, the adults of tomorrow, learn that anything is possible with a little creativity.
Our hands-on labs are led by experienced teachers who emphasize creative thinking and seek to harness a child’s natural curiosity about our world. Our programs are designed to share and nurture children’s love for the sciences.
