RSVP Here Friday, January 26th is 80’s Night at Ideaventions! Cuff your parachute pants and make sure not to skimp on the hairspray as you recreate your Flock of Seagulls’ hairdo as we take a journey back to the 80’s. We will have an 80’s music dance party, two arcades of 80’s video games (and you don’t even have to bring your rolls of quarters!), and several movie rooms that the Brat Pack would surely be proud of!
Open to Ideaventions Academy students and their guests. We are hosting the North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad (NACLO) Open Round as a school site on Thursday, January 25th. This contest is open to middle and high school students (to include 6th-grade students). Students may be selected to move onto an invitational round.

Open to the public Cost: Free Time: 6 pm - 8 pm RSVP All of our 6th-8th graders participated in this year's MATHCOUNTS School Competition. We're excited to build our team that will represent us at the Chapter Round in February.
Our 8th graders began working on the 3M Young Scientist Challenge. This challenge requires each participant to identify a solution to an everyday problem that directly impacts themselves, their family, their community, and/or the global population. In addition to creating a video as outlined in the contest rules, the engineers will have to make their solution (or a model of it depending on the solution) as an additional challenge for school.
Our 7th and 8th grade engineers completed the Future Engineers: Two For The Crew challenge today! We wish them luck!
