Our field trips reflect the extraordinary education at Ideaventions Academy. Each year, our field trips are thoughtfully organized based on student pursuits and interests, emergent opportunities, curriculum focal points, and active research work. Informal Meetups

As an intellectual community that shares common interests, we organize informal meetups at significant outside events like MIT Spark, documentary showings such as He Named Me Malala and Screenagers, and outside scientific lecture series.

Historical Reenactors

Sometimes we bring the field trip to us.  Using historical reenactors, we have had the pleasure of enjoying visits by prominent figures such as:
  • Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton
  • Meriwether Lewis and William Clark
  • Thomas Edison
