Description:
A mystery is afoot! We will solve the mystery before time runs out? Using science as your tool, collect and analyze evidence in order to find the culprit. In the labs, use chemistry to reveal fingerprints, detect blood traces, and analyze mysterious substances left behind. Throughout our adventure, the mystery solvers will be introduced to crime scene investigation techniques that applies fundamental chemistry concepts. The detectives will learn about physical and chemical properties of matter, chemical reactions, and analytical chemistry. Each experiment will bring students one step closer to solving the crime!
Computer Lab: Coding and Minecraft Education Edition
- Students will explore computer science using computational exercises from Code.org. In Minecraft Education Edition, work collaboratively engineering a detective headquarters and complete challenges.
