Winter 2025-26 Basketball
Sign up if you are interested in joining the Ideaventions Academy Basketball team. We welcome players of all ability levels. If you are a parent and have coaching experience, please reach out if you would like to help coach.
Ages: Grades 6th-12th, boys and girls - we divide up into "teams" but are one Team.
The season starts on Monday, November 18th and ends the first week of March.
Practices are:
Mondays, 5:30 - 7:00 pm at Hutchinson Elementary.
Fridays, 5:30 -7:00 pm at Coates Elementary (*Note the new location, Hutchison was not available on Fridays)
Also, depending on team needs, we may add a few additional practices at Hoops Plus (Sterling, VA) during winter break or Sunday afternoons.
Transportation: We can offer transportation to M/F practices and games for the first 14 people to sign up. After that, parents need to arrange transportation or carpool. Pick up is from Hutchinson Elementary on Mondays and Coates Elementary on Fridays.
Games: Middle School and High School players will have 5-7 scheduled games against teams in our Independent Small School Athletic Conference (ISSAC).
