Spring 2026 Coed Varsity Volleyball
Sign up if you are interested in joining the Ideaventions Academy Coed Varsity Volleyball team. We welcome players of all ability levels. If you are a parent and have coaching experience, please reach out if you would like to help coach.
Ages: Grades 6th-12th, boys and girls. We are mainly a high school team but will consider middle school students playing up. Middle school players should meet with Coach Ryan to discuss.
The season starts on Monday, March 23rd and ends the last week of May.
Practices are:
Mondays, 5:30 - 7:00 pm at Sunrise Valley Elementary.
Fridays, 5:30 -7:00 pm at Sunrise Valley Elementary
Also, depending on team needs, we may add a few additional practices at Hoops Plus (Sterling, VA) during winter break or Sunday afternoons.
Transportation: We can offer transportation to M/F practices and games for the first 14 people to sign up. After that, parents need to arrange transportation or carpool. Pick up is from Sunrise Valley Elementary on Mondays and Fridays.
Games: The team will have 8 scheduled games against teams in our Independent Small School Athletic Conference (ISSAC). Players should not commit to the team if they cannot commit to the game schedule and should discuss with Coach first. Commitments to play other teams should be treated with importance as it affects our standing is ISSAC, school reputation, and other sports opportunities.
