Our students laugh, debate, question, seek, and succeed together. In a safe, positive, and supportive community of intellectually curious peers and teachers, we forge a living, breathing community that moves with a rhythm of innovation and shines with a spirit of exploration.  Through purposeful framing and continual shaping, the lively community of Ideaventions Academy was sparked.

Connecting Amazing People

The community of Ideaventions Academy stands out in its inclusion of all members of our school—students, teachers, and parents. This required a place where everyone is accepted for who they are, no matter what, and where there are opportunities to share adventures, interests, and goals. Our school is designed to encourage community building through organizations, activities, and events that nurture our community.  Students feel that as part of a strong and supportive group, they can accomplish anything.

Community Events and Organizations

Organizations and events bring our community together; annual school community building assemblies; weekly homeroom meetings; special guest speakers; field trips near and far; symposiums; community service projects; over 15 student-led clubs; overnight trips to places near and far—from Chincoteague Bay to the Highlands of Scotland.
